Description

The RS232 ECU loom joins the CDL3 terminated loom (supplied in the CDL3 Track Logging Kits) to the D9 RS232 communications connector used by MoTeC M4, M48 or M8 ECUs.

This loom will also allow connection to many other RS232-based aftermarket ECUs; custom communication templates may be required.  The RS232 ECU loom can provide 40+ ECU channels to the CDL3.

These looms enable the CDL3 to connect quickly and easily to your vehicle's ECU - whether factory or aftermarket - to access important engine data for display and/or logging. Some of the common channels received are:

  • Engine RPM
  • Throttle position (engine)
  • Engine temperature
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP)
  • Inlet air temperature
  • Mass Air Flow (MAF)
  • Barometric pressure
  • Load point
  • Exhaust temperature
