DELIVERY

Our Warehouse ships orders Monday to Friday from our Gold Coast facility, we use a wide range of freight companies to ensure that your orders are delivered with the best mix of delivery time frame and at the best rates possible. Our website is able to process shipping for Domestic shipping in Australia and internationally throughout New Zealand, we can manually process orders for any other destination so please reach out if our site cannot quote you.

 

Domestic Freight

On all small orders we offer a flat shipping rate of $15.99 and for all medium sized orders we offer a flat rate of $39.99, any orders containing large/ excessively heavy or bulky goods the website will calculate the additional freight required and update accordingly in the shipping options at the check-out stage of your order.  If for any reason, there is an issue with the freight quotes on an order we will reach out to discuss this prior to shipping.  Examples of products that would attract additional shipping charges: Bull bars , Awnings, Leaf Springs etc.

 

On check out you will generally be provided with two freight options flat rate and with insurance, Freight insurance will provide coverage for cases of lost or damaged goods in transit. Please ensure that this option is selected for items that are fragile or high value as whilst all care is taken while packing orders, any orders lost or damaged in transit without insurance will not be replaced.

 

Most freight companies that we use will make deliveries between Monday to Friday, for this reason we do recommend that you use a postal address that someone will be available for collection during business hours. Please ensure that you double check and confirm the shipping details as not all shipments are able to be redirected once in transit. 

 

Where this is not possible, we do allow the option for authority to leave, this provides the freight company the clearance to leave the order in what they deem a safe location. If you choose 'yes' for 'Authority to leave' the courier will put the package in a safe place out of the weather according to your instructions.

If you choose  'no' for 'Authority to leave' then the courier will put a card in your post box indicating which local post office (parcels shipped via StarTrack or Australia Post only) or depot you can collect the package from. You will need to provide identification to collect from the post office/depot. If collection is not made goods may be returned to Car Mods Australia and additional charges may be required for reshipping orders.

 

Authority to leave terms & conditions

Orders placed through the Car Mods Australia website and through our sales team will default as Signature required, by ticking the box or selecting 'yes' at the checkout page on the website, Car Mods Australia's agent will leave your parcel at your premises in accordance with your instructions. Please note that the driver does not require a signature often he/she will not try to obtain one so parcels may be delivered without knocking/ringing.

You agree that the parcel is deemed received when left at your premises.

Car Mods Australia, and contractors associated with the delivery, do not accept responsibility for any loss or damage which results from this Authority to Leave delivery method. You agree to release ‘Car Mods Australia’ from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, costs and expenses, including financial and other consequential losses, made, suffered or incurred by you or any other person or entity as a result of this Authority to Leave.

If you do not give ‘Car Mods Australia’ Authority to Leave, you will have to be at your premises in order for the delivery to occur.

 

Order Processing

All orders showing in stock and ready to ship will be processed in 1-2 business days from the date of confirmation.  Products will show the stock status on the website with green in stock ready to ship on product in our Gold Coast Warehouse and items not in stock showing the usual lead time for this product to arrive from the manufacturer assuming available stock.  Your invoice will also provide stock information, our customer service team will endeavour to notify all customers if the estimated date of delivery extends beyond the estimate provided on the product page when not in stock. If your order in your account is showing as “processing “ we have received the order and are working on securing stock from our warehouse or the manufacturer where required to ship the order out. Any orders including a backordered product will ship out in full once all products are in stock. To arrange a split delivery please contact us. Shipping destinations

For international shipping we use DHL Express, if your delivery address is outside of Australia, you may have to pay import duties and taxes, which are levied once the shipment reaches your country. All international shipments may be subject to cross-border inspections by customs authorities while customs policies vary widely country to country. You must meet any additional charges for customs clearance, and we recommend that you contact your local customs office for further information.
