Description

PSR's Nissan Navara D22 Ultra Heavy Duty drag link is a direct bolt-in replacement drag link which massively increases impact wear and failure compared to stock.

The OE design runs 2 different style joints on the 2 joint design. One designed to rotate only, the other to swing in any direction without restriction. The swing style joint is there to allow for large chassis variations caused by the manufacturing process. Once lifted the rotate only joint takes all the load of the steering, point loaded, as the wheels force in and out fighting the drag link, this then places loads well above the manufacturers limits and the nylon joint is destined to fail!

The re-designed PSR drag link features a rotate only joint both sides meaning leverage is spread between both joints, not one. Also the OE nylon is replaced with a much more robust steel bush which is a self-lubricating bearing and will withstand far higher forces. Supplied with shims to correct chassis alignment and a tech sheet to guide installation and make sure drag link gives durability over a long period of usage. The installation guide is found on this listing, if you're not confident to install this product correctly then DO NOT FIT AS WARRANTY WILL BE VOIDED IF NOT INSTALLED CORRECTLY.

When fitting this product please consider our other products such as our Heavy Duty tie rod system PSRNAV-007 and idler arm brace PSRNAV-005.

PRODUCT WARRANTY INFORMATION:

As stated above this product is designed to aid in offroad use when lifted or more travel has been added to the D22. The more lift EG wheel dropped into a hole, the more load placed onto the drag link assembly and other products in the steering assembly.

This product is designed to assist in OFF ROAD USE! This means the product is not intended for extreme long term use and other high constant impact scenarios such as long term corrugated roads. This product is for wheeling, you cannot massively increase loads by adding lift and wheels, then reach further offroad without impacting the load placed on critical components, so this component is for situations where high impacts would cause a factory drag link to fail. If there is slight play this will not be warranted, even if new or near new, this product needs to allow for movement and be free to move in its joints, if the internal joint fails within 1 (one) year completely due to impact then warranty will be offered. If other workmanship causes the product to fail warranty will be offered EG forging breaks.
