Aeroflow Performance would like to introduce the new brushless AF49-
1214 fuel pump. For classic performance with more heart we used the
original design of the very popular AF49-1014. So this features all the same
dimensions, electrical connections and internal threads so it’s a very easy
and convenient direct swap over.This brushless fuel pump does NOT require
any external fuel pump controller. Just a simple positive and negaitive
connection. The motor use sensors to monitor the angle of the rotor for
faster and more reliable phase shifting allowing for more torque capacity
and efficiency. The armature in a brushless motor is stationary. Instead,
the magnets rotate around the armature and the motor controller manages
the phase shift to keep the motor in motion providing more torque per watt,
higher torque to weight ratio, lower noise and higher reliability. This provides
precise control of fuel pressure under tight tolerances resulting in less current
draw, less heat, less noise and extended life.
While producing 360LPH (95GPH) of fuel flow and operating at 100PSI
(6.89BAR).With this fuel pump, you will be able to support 900 horsepower.
It features a check valve already screwed into the outlet, if you leave it in you
need to run a banjo fitting off it as it has a tapered thread. It is quite common
for people to remove the check valve and screw an adaptor straight into the
outlet. If you do this, you will need to put an aftermarket check valve inline to
keep fuel pressure in your fuel lines.
