Roadsafe 4WD have available a full range of EGR Plates to the expanding 4WD product line-up. The EGR Plate is installed to block the EGR port and redirect the exhaust gasses back out via the Turbo, which means the turbo spools quicker (better performance). It also stops the soot from the exhaust clogging up the inlet manifold (clogging results in poor performance), so the vehicle produces higher NOx emissions (sold for off-road use only, because it won't pass emission testing). The reduced throttle position and lower intake temperatures mean the vehicle uses less diesel, performs better, and produces less soot and particulate matter.
