McGard

McGard is an American manufacturer of wheel security and fastening products. Its range includes wheel lock nuts and bolts, standard lug nuts and replacement keys for a wide variety of vehicles.

The company's origins trace back to precision machinist L.D. McCauley, Inc. of Buffalo, New York, whose owner designed and patented an anti-theft wheel nut in the early 1960s. McGard, Inc. was formed in 1964, and since 1990 has operated from a purpose-built facility in Orchard Park, New York.

McGard supplies wheel locks to many global car makers as original equipment, and its aftermarket range covers cone seat and radius seat lock nuts and bolts in common thread pitches, along with hex lug nuts in chrome and black finishes.

Each lock set uses a uniquely patterned key to deter wheel and tyre theft, while precise machining ensures correct seating and clamping force on factory and aftermarket wheels.
