J&L Oil Separator Co. is an American manufacturer of plug-and-play oil catch cans for late-model V8 and turbocharged vehicles. Its separators trap oil vapour from the crankcase ventilation system before it can reach the intake.

Formerly known as JLT Oil Separators, the company rebranded as J&L Oil Separator Co. while keeping the same product line. Its catch cans are engineered, machined and assembled in the USA.

The 3.0 series separators use a multi-stage filtration design that collects fine oil mist in an easily removable tank while allowing clean air to continue to the intake. Kits are vehicle-specific, with passenger-side and driver-side versions for applications such as the Mustang GT, Hemi-powered Chargers, Challengers and Grand Cherokees, and GM 5.3L and 6.2L trucks and SUVs, often in black or clear finishes.

Reducing oil build-up in the intake tract helps keep throttle bodies, intake runners and valves cleaner, which is particularly relevant on direct-injection engines prone to carbon deposits.
