Stockcar and Superstock Seat

Improving upon the technology that has made Racetech the leading seat supplier to the Supercars and GT cars globally, we have designed and crafted this seat in our range specifically with full contact Stockcar and Superstock racing in mind. We call it the ‘339’. Our carbon-reinforced fibreglass shell structure from the previous stockcar seat: RT4229WTHR, is mated with a massive 75mm of high impact energy absorbing (SFI Approved) foam and 25mm of energy absorbing comfort foam to achieve a full 100mm foam containment solution with an emphasis on head protection. These materials and their dimensions are currently used for the same application in NASCAR seats. The shell structure of the 339 is built similar to our 129 series that has surpassed simulated impacts of more than 14kN to the pelvis, 11kN to the shoulder and 7kN to the head.
