Description

This is a great product to make installing your Oil Pressure and Oil Temperature senders easy. Made from aluminum, this plate screws on under your oil filter and it has (4) 1/8" NPT fittings. So, no more drilling and taping holes. Just unsrew your oil filter, screw the plate down in the same manner as you would install your oil filter, and then screw your oil filter back on and install our Oil Pressure or Oil Temperature senders. Comes with 4 plugs, O-ring gasket and instructions. The plate can even be rotated 360 degrees give you the most room to install the senders.

 

*This plate will make your filter stick out 29mm or 1.15" more so check if you will have any clearnace issues. Some WRX's will need to bend or trim some heat shielding.

Center nut torque should be 23 ft. lbs.

M18 x 1.5- Fits some Pontiac, Chevy 5.7

 

 

Sensor installation: NPT fittings are tapered and should be snugged with your hand then about 3/4 to 1-1/2 turns more is all you need. You do not want to crank on it or it will start stripping threads. You will probably still see some exposed threads and gap on the sensor. This creates an air tight seal. Make sure you're using a little teflon tape or loctite on the threads.
