IAG 600 BOLT-ON WRX TURBO

If you’re looking for more power out of your 2022+ Subaru WRX equipped with the FA24F engine, the IAG 600 Ball Bearing Turbo is a solid step up from the factory unit. This larger turbo is comparable in size and performance to the Garrett G25-660, delivering increased power without sacrificing everyday drivability. With the right supporting mods and tuning, it’s capable of supporting up to 600 crank horsepower, with strong mid-range response and plenty of top-end power.

MORE POWER, FACTORY FIT

The IAG 600 Ball Bearing Turbo is designed to bolt directly into the factory location, making it easy to upgrade without major modifications. It features a CNC-machined billet aluminum compressor wheel with a 54mm inducer and 67mm exducer, paired with a 54mm inducer and 49mm exducer turbine wheel. This larger, more aggressive wheel combination moves more air than the factory turbo, delivering the airflow needed to support increased power.

HIGH-EFFICIENCY TURBO DESIGN

Built for high heat and demanding conditions, the IAG 600 Ball Bearing Turbo features a turbine wheel and housing rated up to 1050°C. The 9.5cm turbine housing is optimized to increase airflow and efficiency without sacrificing boost response. Combined with its high-efficiency compressor design, it helps control heat and maintain consistent performance when you’re pushing the car hard. To ensure the rotating assembly operates smoothly and remains stable, each IAG 600 Turbo is VSR (Vibration Sorting Rig) balanced to reduce vibration and noise while helping to prevent premature bearing wear at high shaft speeds.

Upgrading your turbo often means reusing your factory actuator or buying one separately. The IAG 600 Ball Bearing Turbo comes equipped with the IAG Electronic Wastegate, so you’re ready to go right out of the box. Designed to match the increased exhaust flow of this higher-output setup, it delivers fast, precise boost control. As boost builds more aggressively, the electronic actuator helps keep everything in check—reducing spikes and delivering smoother, more predictable power throughout the rev range.

PROVEN PERFORMANCE

On our in-house 2022 WRX test vehicle equipped with a stock engine, ETS Catback and J-Pipe, COBB Front Mount Intercooler and Redline Intake, an upgraded in-tank fuel pump, and an IAG Spec High-Pressure Fuel Pump by Nostrum, along with custom tuning via COBB Accessport, the IAG 600 Ball Bearing Turbo delivered 374 WHP and 376 WTQ on 93 octane, and 450 WHP and 401 WTQ on E60 fuel. These results highlight the turbo’s strong mid-range and top-end capability, even on a stock engine. With the right supporting mods and a built engine, the IAG 600 is capable of supporting up to 600 BHP.

The IAG 600 Ball Bearing Turbo comes equipped with the IAG Electronic Wastegate, along with all necessary hardware for installation, including turbo inlet and outlet exhaust gaskets, exhaust studs with nuts, oil feed line and fittings, oil catch tank hardware, turbo coolant pipes with banjo bolts, and sealing copper washers. There’s no need to swap your wastegate from your old turbo, or track down specialized or hard-to-find components—everything you need is included to simplify the install and get your WRX back on the road or out at the track.
