Shipping and Payments

We deliver products Australia wide using StarTrack and Australia Post at a very competitive flat rate starting at $15.99 per order. We offer options postage insurance during the checkout, postage insurance covers your parcel for any loss or damage during transit once it leaves our warehouse.  It's a little piece of mind for a very small cost. If your parcel is lost or damaged during transit please contact us so we can organise a replacement, credit or repair depending on the circumstances. If you do not choose postage insurance your parcel will not be covered during transit and will be up to the discretion of the freight company for replacement (StarTrack). Prices vary depending on your order value.

We always recommend that you put your business address as your delivery address to ensure successful delivery. Alternatively you can select ATL (Authority to Leave) in the checkout and your package will be left at your front door. PLEASE NOTE: Any ATL order forfeits insurance and there is no responsibility taken by CMA for missing parcels. 

In stock orders are usually dispatched sameday if ordered before 2:00pm otherwise following business day if after 2:00pm. Out of stock orders shipping will range between 1-10 days based on the origin of the product. We show expected shipping times on every product that isnt currently in stock. Any orders that exeed these expected shipping times will be discussed with you either by phone/email. Domestic shipping times are estimated at between 1-5 business days depending on your location within Australia. Use the tracking information supplied by CMA for accurate ETA's.

StarTrack and Australia Post ships goods Australia wide and we use DHL to ship internationally. We now accept international orders through our website, please contact us if you are having any issues. 

We have a wide range of payment options available to make it as easy as possible for you to finalise your order.

Our online checkout system accepts

  • Direct deposit (There is usually a slight delay on these orders as we wait for the payment to land before approving the order)
  • We also accept cash/eftpos on pick up in store at Arundel, QLD.

Our new state of the art responsive website is also our stock control system. This means that the stock is instantly updated as sales are made. You can be sure that if its in stock online, we will ship your order immediately. In stock orders placed before 2:00pm usually ship same day. An automated email will be sent to your email confirming shipping and tracking information once the order has shipped. Any orders including a backordered product will ship out in full once all products are in stock. To arrange a split delivery please contact us. To check ETA of backordered products you can log into your account on our website and clicking on your outstanding orders. We will also email you updates as timing is updated. We endevour to ship all orders within 7 days. 

We know that no-one likes to pay for excessive postage. This is why we have spent considerable time negotiating the best possible rates for our customers. We have flat rate shipping starting at $14.99 per order per shipment.

  • orders under $500 | $3.95
  • orders $501- 999 | $5.95
  • orders $1000 -1500 | $7.95
  • orders over $1500 | $9.95

Replacement product including shipping will be provided by Car Mods Australia when products would be damaged during delivery upon receipt and inspection of the items that are deemed faulty or damaged.

All pricing on the website is inclusive of GST. We believe this is the easiest and fairest way to display product prices.

Returns and Warranty

Not all items purchased from CMA can be returned for a refund.  Items that are not in stock in the Car Mods Australia warehouse that need to be ordered form a supplier cannot be returned.

All other items that are available for return will attract a 15% Return Fee when refunding via your original purchase method.  You can opt to instead receive store credit applied to your customer account for 100% of the original purchase price.

Please note any products that have been opened, test fitted, damaged, packaging or contents lost or damaged will NOT be accepted for return.

Please also note shipping costs in your original purchase will not be refunded.

 

TRANSACTIONAL COSTS

Due to the associated transactional costs from the use of Afterpay and Zip Money, any order cancelled using either payment method will attract a 6% processing fee. Swapping to another product with Car Mods Australia will not attract any cancellation fee. Please note that cancellation fees if applicable is added to the return fee.

 

HOW do I return my purchased item?

Firstly you will need to contact CMA by phone, email or live chat to require a return for your item.  If CMA approves your return request you will be provided with an RMA number.  Use this as your reference number in all future communication with CMA regarding your return.

Once you are given an RMA number by CMA you will then be responsible for shipping the item back to CMA.  Ensure you use a courier service with tracking capabilities and insurance options.  Ensure the item is packaged well and securely and will not deteriorate or get damaged.  The item must be returned in perfect original condition including its original packaging for a return to complete.  Affix the RMA Number and our address 3/23 Technology Dr, Arundel Qld 4214 to the package.

 

WHEN will the refund be applied?

Upon receiving the item CMA will process the return within 48 hours.  Once completed you will be advised of the return approval status.

Once approved for refund your selected refund method will be processed.

We are an authorised distributor for all brands and any manufacturer warranty is passed onto the original purchaser of any product. We will also discuss warranty/returns with the supplier making the whole process as smooth and easy as possible. Unfortunately we are not able to warrant any items that we deem to have been misused, altered, abused or not used for their intended purpose. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to verify the part prior to installation and it’s installed correctly. Once it has been used, we cannot offer a return.

Terms and Conditions

Each time you use or cause access to Car Mods Australia, you agree to be bound by these conditions of use, and as amended from time to time with or without notice to you. In addition, if you are using a particular service on or through Car Mods Australia, you will be subject to any rules or guidelines applicable to those services and they shall be incorporated by reference into these conditions of use. Please see our Privacy Notice, which is incorporated into these conditions of use by reference.

Car Mods Australia and services provided to you on and through Car Mods Australia are on an "as is" basis. You agree that the owners of Car Mods Australia exclusively reserve the right and may, at any time and without notice and any liability to you, modify or discontinue Car Mods Australia and its services or delete the data you provide, whether temporarily or permanently. We shall have no responsibility or liability for the timeliness, deletion, failure to store, inaccuracy, or improper delivery of any data or information.

In order to use Car Mods Australia, you must register on our site, agree to provide truthful information when requested, and be at least the age of thirteen (13) or older. When registering, you explicitly agree to our Conditions of Use and as may be modified by us from time to time and available here.
