Shipping and Delivery Policy:

We deliver products Australia wide using TNT or Australia Post. Shipping costs are influenced by the size and weight of the product and your location. Exact shipping costs are calculated in the shopping cart and will be added to the order total before checkout. Orders are dispatched within 2 business days. Shipping times are estimated at between 3-7 business days depending on your location within Australia.

Shipping Destinations:

TNT ships goods Australia wide and internationally OR Australia Post ships goods Australia wide, however at this time we do NOT accept international orders through our website, please contact us on +61 7 5564 8227 to enquire about a special order.

How can I make Payment?

We have a wide range of payment options available to make it as easy as possible for you to finalise your order. Our online checkout system accepts credit cards (MasterCard or Visa) payments. Direct deposits are also available if preferred. We also accept cash on delivery if you live in south-east Queensland, please call to discuss this option.

How quickly will I receive my order?

We ensure that all products in stock are posted within 1 working day of receipt of an order. An automated email will be sent to your email confirming shipping and tracking information once the order has shipped. 

Do you accept Returns?

Changed your mind? Want to exchange for another part? At Car Mods Australia we understand that sometimes you change your mind. We will always do our best to accommodate your circumstances. Please note, special order items cannot be returned. All returns must be discussed with our personnel prior to sending parts back. The return shipping and insurance is the responsibility of the purchaser and a 15% restocking and service fee is applicable. Please note that refunds are not available.

Do you provide any Warranty?

We are an authorised distributor for most brands and any manufacturer warranty is passed onto the customer. We will also discuss warranty/returns with the supplier making the whole process as smooth and easy as possible.
Unfortunately we are not able to warrant any items that we deem to have been misused, altered, abused or not used for their intended purpose. It is the responsibility of the purchaser to verify the part prior to installation and it’s installed correctly. Once it has been used, we cannot offer a return.

How are parts Shipped and how much will it cost?

At Car Mods Australia we know that no-one likes to pay for excessive postage. This is why we have spent considerable time negotiating the best possible rates for our customers. The Shipping amount will be displayed when you make your purchase. If you would like to discuss this figure or a figure is not displayed (which could happen in the event of purchasing large items like engine blocks or gearboxes), please contact us directly and we will work out a custom shipping cost for you.

What do I do if I receive Damaged Items?

If you have received a damaged package, you must contact the shipping company to lodge a claim within 48 hours of receiving the package. Parts are packed and thoroughly checked prior to postage. The parts are insured, any shipping damage is the responsibility of the shipping company. We are availble to help customers through this process. 

How are my Credit Card details and other personal information treated?

CMA Logo: All payment information and credit card details are controlled by Westpac who uses 256 bit encryption to ensure the safety of your information. Your personal information stays with Car Mods Australia and it is not given to any 3rd party for any purposes.

Do you match competitor pricing?

We always endeavour to have the cheapest prices, however if you find a product cheaper elsewhere, please let us know and we will do what we can to match the price or better it.

Do you organise Group Buys?

Car Mods Australia is in the process of acquiring Vendor status on various car enthusiast sites. We will be organising group buys from time to time. If there is a particular product or brand that you or your friends want to be in a group buy, please email us.

Do the prices on the website include GST?

All pricing on the website is inclusive of GST. We believe this is the easiest and fairest way to display product prices.

What affect does installing Aftermarket Parts to my car have?

Due to the nature of many of the parts that we sell here at Car Mods Australia we must state the following:
“Some items may not be suitable or legal for road use and it is up to the purchaser to check any applicable laws and regulations. Some items may also be detrimental to the reliability or use of your vehicle without specialised tuning or fitment. Any information provided on the Car Mods Australia website or via email transmissions is not warranted by Car Mods Australia and is used at your own risk. Car Mods Australia will not be held responsible for any breakages, injuries or death from the inability, incorrect fitment or misuse of any product featured on this website or purchased through the Car Mods Australia store.”
